Carrot and almond spread
Carrot and almond spread. There’s more to life than hummus! Try this on some crackers or dip some veggie sticks for a tasty snack.
- 1 cup (5 oz / 140g) carrots
- 1 1/4 cups (5 oz / 140g) ground almonds
- Vegetable bouillon or salt and pepper to taste
- Dice the carrots and boil in a little water until soft.
- Mash the carrots then add the ground almonds and work the mixture into a paste. Season with bouillon, salt and pepper.
